Juliette Israël was born in Orléans (France) in 1976. She graduated in art history and literature studies in Paris and Heidelberg as well as in scenography
at the University of Arts and Design (HfG) Karlsruhe. From 2005 through 2007, during her fellowship at the Jewish Museum Munich, she worked on the concept and execution of the museum's permanent and inaugural exhibitions. Juliette Israël works since 2008 as a freelance art historian and scenographer. She has designed and curated a number of exhibitions for museums and art institutions.
